…and I’m looking forward to some Steelers football Saturday night even if it’s only a preseason game. Who doesn’t want to see how the quarterback situation plays out with Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Picket? I’ve already seen what Mason Rudolph can do in a Steelers uniform especially after that wonderful tie with Detroit last season. Sorry, hate to be judgmental but it is what it is. I find it hard to believe that he will be the opening day starter after the dust settles from the exhibition season. Think about it. It’s the first time in almost 20 years that we don’t know who the starting quarterback will be for Pittsburgh when the season opens in Cincinnati on Sept 11th. So yeah, I’m excited to see what happens when they take the field Saturday against Seattle on the north shore at the Stadium that used to be Heinz Field. I’ve got to hear more people pronounce the new name before I can even get comfortable writing it let alone saying it but who knows. Like new songs, some of the best ones take a while to sink in but if and when they do you wonder why it took so long.
