It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and more than 26,000 people have signed a Change.org petition directed at President Trump that asks that Halloween be moved to the last Saturday in October. The petition launched by the trade group Halloween & Costume Organization says that moving the holiday to Saturday would make it less stressful for parents, lead to more parental supervision of trick-or-treaters, and improve safety. Considering only around 26,000 people signed on to the petition it looks like its not going to be considered. Unless I’m wrong their needs to be at least 100,000 signatures for the White House to even consider it and besides Halloween, which is also called All Hallow’s Eve, is on October 31st because it’s the eve of November 1st, the day on the Catholic calendar that honors all saints.
