…and I hope you can join me for lunch today between 11 and 3 pm at the Fayette County Community Action Agency’s 5th Annual Empty Bowls event at the Adult Recreation Center at 137 N. For just $15 you can enjoy a variety of home made soups donated by 24 local businesses in and around the Uniontown area like Wedding, Broccoli and Cheese, Chili, Beef Barley, Cheesy Potato, Navy Bean, Stuffed Green Pepper, Vegan Vegetable, Chicken Noodle, Cream of Mushroom, Pepperoni and Potato and more. Along with the soups you’ll find hand crafted homemade ceramic empty bowl’s to pick and choose one to take home with you. Plus enjoy live entertainment from Frazier’s Jazz Band at 1:00, then music from Sharise Johnson Moore at 2:00 and finally it’s Rebecca Kaufman Taylor at 2:30. In addition to that their will be a silent auction thanks donations from 41 different business and you don’t need to be present to win.
