It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I’ve got to tell you about my most excellent adventure yesterday. Well, it wasn’t as much excellent as sad. Have you ever meant to do something but put it off then forget about it all together until it was too late.  That’s me in a nutshell but when you get older folks tend to find a label for it despite the fact I’ve been this way all my life. Maybe I daydream too much because I found myself side tracked left and right yesterday. It started when I headed out to do a little shopping but left the valuable coupons sitting at home. I didn’t realize that until I got to my first stop which was the bank’s ATM machine which is in the same shopping center as the beer distributor, hey you’ve got have something to wash the food down with right?  But before getting the beer I figured I’d hit the hardware store which is right next door. Next thing you know I’m back in my car driving away when I realize I never hit the beer distributor and had to drive back to the shopping center. At least I didn’t get too far down the road and start calling myself names. Yeah, I talk to myself. I guess theirs a label for that too. Next on my most excellent adventure was a trip to the grocery store despite not having my valuable coupons.  I figured I’ll use them next time I’m out. But before you know it I’m driving down my street heading for home when it hit me. What am I doing here? I was heading to the grocery store. That’s when I started to call myself names until I calmed down and thought maybe subconsciously I was meant to go back home to get the valuable coupons which I did and then continued with my most excellent adventure which believe it or not was without any further mishaps or forgetfulness. So I’m chalking it all up to a massive case of daydreaming which could have been worse. I could have left my bank card in the ATM again and I do mean again.
