It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…feeling the love which is something that the Food and Drug Administration is lacking after warning a bakery that listing “Love” as an ingredient on its baked goods is against the rules. Apparently “Love” was listed as ingredient on a Massachusetts-based company’s granola. The agency fired off a letter recently to Nashoba Brook Bakery chiding it for listing “Love” as an ingredient. The letter notes that “Love” isn’t a common or usual name of an ingredient and that it’s considered “intervening material.” Maybe the company figured their baked goods are made with “Love” so why not include it on the label as part of the ingredients. The Chief Executive Officer of the company John Gates is disappointed to lose ‘love’ as an ingredient, but will ultimately comply. My question is if “Love” was listed as an ingredient was “Love” factored into the price and will the price go down now that “Love” is not listed and just how much was “Love” worth if it was listed as an ingredient and if so can the public who bought a baked good with “love” listed as an ingredient now be entitled to a rebate…I would love to know.
