…can we talk Steelers Football? Is that alright? First off how do you take a team seriously when they come out looking like orange Creamsicle Push Pop’s or human Pez dispensers. I think I started getting a bad feel for the game game when the Steelers opening drive stalls after a 1st down razzle dazzle play goes nowhere. The drive stalls so they attempt a Field Goal that gets blocked after one of the Pez Dispensers or Creamsicle Push Pop’s leaped over the line to block the kick. It gets better, Xavier Grimble fumbles a ball into the end zone and out of bounds turning what should have been a Steelers touchdown into a touch-back which gave the ball back to Denver at the 20 yard line. Then you had Vance McDonald dropping a sure TD in the end zone but the weirdness didn’t end their. How about more razzle dazzle? Kinda made me think the coaching staff was enjoying some edibles the night before to come up with first Steeler touchdown of the game because it was pretty mind blowing. It was a fake field goal attempt that involved the Wizard of Boz, your field goal kicker throwing a touchdown pass to the Steelers offensive tackle Alaejandro Villanueva. You know maybe it wasn’t edibles maybe it was a contact high in the thin air of the mile high city. You can’t say the game wasn’t entertaining when you factor in Big Ben hooking up with Ju Ju Smith-Schuster on a 97 yard touchdown as Ben was just about to be sacked in the end zone. That catch and run makes Ju Ju the first player in NFL history to score multiple 97+ yard touchdown receptions in his career and he’s only been in the league for two years and just turned 22 on Thanksgiving. Course that Rocky Mountain High didn’t last long for Pittsburgh with Big Ben throwing an interception that the Broncos eventually turn into a touchdown then a James Conner fumble adds another 7 for the Broncos. Then when you thought the Steelers would be sending the game into overtime Big Ben gets a bad snap, James Conner runs into Ben who throws the ball to one of the Pez dispenser’s or was it a orange Creamsicle Push Pop in the end zone. I’m not sure because recreational marijuana is not legal in Pa.
