It’s The Kielbasa Kid…

…and tis the season of something I never gave a second thought to until after I met my wife and that was her plants. “Oh, these have to come in the house and hang over the stationary tub with a special light” that I have to turn on before I leave for work in the morning. Then there are the plants that she has to cut down to prepare for winter. She has so many plants from Elephant Ears to a Banana tree that she has to chop down before the first frost so that it will live and rise in the spring. She has plants that came from her grandmother and grandfather and there is a story that goes along with each one. Like the time she rescued one from her sister’s car and almost killed it herself if not for the dirt transplant. There are even plants from Germany in my living room which also has a humidifier cause plants like the moisture. Yeah, tis the season of something I never gave a second thought to,
