A British blogger is accusing an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant of fat-shaming her after she claims to have been double-charged for eating too much. The blogger is Poppy Jones and she explained in a TikTok video, “I once went to an all-you-can-eat buffet. And when the bill came, I noticed they charged me twice. I questioned it and asked why — and they said I ate too much.” After arguing with them, she says she paid the one flat rate and left the restaurant. I love all you can eat restaurants and never encountered anything like that. Doesn’t “all-you-can-eat” mean you can have all you can eat? That’s why people go there. It’s disturbing to think that while you’re at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, someone might be keeping track of everything you’re eating. And how do they determine who they should keep their eye on.
