It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I think it’s time for me to upgrade but I really don’t know if I want to. I was talking to my son about using on demand to rent the new Spider-Man movie but he said he had the movie and would let me borrow it. Not only did he have the new Spider-Man but 4 boxed up DVDs of all the Marvel Universe movies but I did notice The Fantastic Four was not included in the collection which kind of puzzled me that what was billed as the Greatest Comic Magazine In The World and was boldly printed at the top of each issue since the first was missing in this great collection of movies. Anyway back to the upgrade. I went to watch the new Spider-Man movie and it kicked it out of my DVD player. I went to play it in another player but got the same result. After further examination I realized it was a Blu-ray disc and my players are apparently dinosaurs. Not only that all the Marvel Universe DVDs that he left me are also Blu-ray. So then I figured, well my computer’s not that old, surely it would play the DVD. I guess it’s older than I thought cause I got nothing. So, do I upgrade or just rent since I stream most of the movies that I watch anyway. I went on line and saw some nice players but thought do I really want to spend a $100.00 on a new player to watch a movie I’ll probably only watch once or $5.00? I’m leaning toward the $5.00 but some of those players are really nice. For a few buck’s more you can get the 4k Blu-ray with Ultra HD Vision, HDR, Wi-Fi complete with HDMI cable, remote control and cleaning cloth. My luck I’d need a new TV in order to be able to hook it up. That $5.00 rental is looking better and better although finding a Blockbuster, not so much.
