It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I want to thank the NFL for releasing the days I will need to be taking off during the up coming Steeler’s season. Hey I’m not alone when it comes to waiting for the schedule to come out to make plans but instead of planning a trip to see the team play I use the schedule to see how many PTO days I will need to use for when the team plays a Prime Time game so I don’t have to worry about waking up early the next day for work. They play 5 but one is a Saturday night game and I’m off on Sunday. What’s cool about the Saturday night game is that it will be on Christmas Eve and against the Raiders and mark the 50th anniversary to the day of the Immaculate Reception. Of course the game was against the Oakland Raiders and not the Las Vegas Raiders and yes it was a playoff game and this is a regular season game and yes it was a day game and not a night game but its still the Raiders on the 50th anniversary so that should be a special night hopefully with the same results. Of course probably not as dramatic but who knows. That’s why you play the game or something like that. The Steelers will also be featured on Amazon Prime when they play the Browns in Cleveland on September 22nd but don’t worry about having to stream it because it will be broadcast locally. The Steelers bye week will come half way through the season and there will be no 4 pm kickoffs probably because every team they play is in the eastern time zone so they will definitely be taking the road less traveled. It’s also a day folks will look at the schedule and determine their win loss record before the first game is even kicked off and yes from what I can see they will split all their games within their division so that’s 3 wins which means they will have to figure out Cincinnati. So from an optimistic look of things and with a little luck thrown in the Steelers will finish 9 and 8 and have another winning season. Let’s Go Steelers!
