.…and probably the biggest nongame sporting event in America will take place this weekend from the betting capital of the United States, Las Vegas, Nevada. From Thursday night through Saturday, it’s the NFL College Draft and I’m sure there will be bets made as to who goes number one overall and that’s a bet you could probably make in Pittsburgh which is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s also weekend filled with more than enough clichés to come up with a drinking game if there isn’t one already. How many times will we hear “I can’t believe he was still on the board?” Drink! Of course, you could lay money down and put all the clichés in a hat and have everyone at your draft party pick one before the draft. Then when someone says, “the guy’s motor never stops” or ‘he’s got great locker room presence” or “he’s got a great wingspan” or “really flies around”. Like I said there are more than enough to make a game out of it. As soon as one comes out of the commentators mouth you win the pot or drink.
