It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

… and can we talk Steelers football? I’m going to anyway. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin always says next man up when it comes to injuries to your starting lineup but after watching Sunday nights loss to the Chargers it’s clear to see the Steelers don’t have any men to man up. Not when after you take the lead with 3:24 left in the game only let your opponent go 75 yards on just 3 plays to take the lead back. Not when you have 2:09 left on the clock only to see your offensive line fold like a house of cards with your quarterback being sacked on consecutive plays. That in a nut shell is the state of the Steelers. Where is the next man up? While it was good night for the Steelers Special Teams getting a blocked punt that led to a touchdown and getting points off the foot of the Wizard of Bos. A good night for Cam Heyward who is a one-man wrecking crew batting down balls and setting up interceptions. And it was a good night for the Steelers faithful who appeared to out-number Charger fans and that’s a shame considering their team is playing good ball not to mention the futuristic Star Trek meets Star Wars looking stadium that they play in.  I mean the NBC crew sure made sure we saw what Sofi Stadium looked like enough and made sure we knew where the Super Bowl would be played and that NBC would be the network to bring it to you? The bottom line is Steelers need to find players who want to man up and right now that looks to be their biggest obstacle. Hope they find those men soon because the schedule from here on out gets tougher and tougher.
