It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I think I ask this question every year, where did summer go? She was here a few minutes ago. I turn to look and boom, she’s gone. Yeah the unofficial end to summer or Labor Day will be here before you know it. Fall arrives on Sept 22nd next thing you know instead of cutting it will be time to rake the lawn. But I hear it’s better to just leave the leaves alone because they provide a nice insulation for the grass from the snow in the winter, not that I’m lazy mind you. I’m planning on taking the last official day of summer off because I have to get my car inspected. This is the first time I ever made an appointment a month before my inspection expires. It’s usually the week before but good thing I did because the only time they could fit me in was at 9:30 in the morning on September 21st and I’m usually here at the station at 9:30 in the morning. What a goofy way to start the week too. I’ll be off on Sunday be at the station on Monday then take Tuesday off then be back at the station Wednesday. Talk about a stop then go stop then go to the workweek. I should have my vehicle registration by then too. It expires at the end of August. I was going to register on line but only got as far as “we cannot process your request. Your computer uses non-persistent cookies. Your browser is not currently set up to allow non-persistent cookies.” Then after I figured out how to allow non-persistent cookies I ran into another roadblock filling out the form. It said something to the effect of not being able to proceed until I fill out the proper information for this vehicle. Sorry, it’s the only information I got for this vehicle. Needless to say I hope I don’t need it until it finally arrives via snail mail. It’s almost as bad as my insurance company sending me new insurance cards that say their expired. And this week is just starting.
