It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and with the release of the Steelers schedule comes the annual ritual of figuring out how many wins and losses they will have this year and according to those in the know and study what’s called the strength of schedule it has been proclaimed that Pittsburgh has they toughest schedule going into the new season. So, with no scientific facts or figures to back anything up by me and by only going on gut reaction this is how I see the Steelers season playing out. First off their not going undefeated because I got them marked down for a loss right off the bat when they travel to Buffalo to kick off the season. Then they play host to the Las Vegas Raiders formerly the Oakland Raiders who then became the Los Angeles Raiders then the Oakland Raiders again but now find themselves in a completely different state, Nevada. Sorry but too many personalities for even them to figure out so they forget who they are and Pittsburgh goes hits the jackpot with a win. The following week the Steelers come home to face the Bengals and I figure a win for Pittsburgh at Heinz field. Next up a trip to Lambeau field for a game against the Packers and I got ’em down for a loss, I figure Arron Rodgers will be done being a diva by then after saying he don’t want to be in Green Bay anymore. Next up is Denver at home so lets give Pittsburgh a win followed by a loss to Seattle on Sunday night football which makes for a lousy bye week before they return to play the Browns. That game is at Cleveland so I’m giving it to the Browns and a two game losing streak for the Steelers who stop that with a win against the Bears at Heinz field the following week. Then Detroit comes to Heinz field and I got that down as a win for Pittsburgh. Then it’s off to L.A. to play the Chargers, I’m still not comfortable with that, LA Chargers, and not San Diego so for that the Chargers lose and Pittsburgh wins. Next up another game with the Bengals and I’m thinking the Steelers are gonna screw this up and lose. Then they got Baltimore at home and they usually split games with the Ravens so I’m giving Pittsburgh the home field advantage and win. They have to go to Minnesota the  following week and I got a win for them there and another win over Tennessee who comes to Pittsburgh. That will be a homecoming for Bud Dupree who signed in the offseason and will regret the move after the Steelers win. Then its off to to play the K.C. Chiefs and that unfortunately looks like a loss but the Steelers get their payback over Cleveland the following week at Heinz field and close out the season with a loss to Baltimore. So overall a 10 and 7 season, one less win then last year but hey they make the playoffs and have a winning season despite the schedule being the toughest out of all the teams in the NFL this season. Again, I’m going on gut feelings no scientific research went into any of this so they’ll probably finish 7-10.
