…and I can’t believe I’m hoping the Pirates lose the final three games of the season this weekend. Not only that but I was listening to the Cleveland broadcast on MLB.com last night to get their perspective of the series. You know they got this guy by the name of Tommy Hamilton doing the play by play on the Indians radio network and he’s pretty good. I get a kick out of him saying that their broadcasting the game on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario instead of just saying Jacob field and his excitement level can go from 0 to 60 in half a second. Course he’s no Greg Brown but for this weekend I really don’t want to see Greg raise the Jolly Roger. See, if I’m right and the reason I say if I’m right because I’m not sure but if I’m right and the Pirates lose this weekend then the Buc’s are guaranteed the number one pick in the upcoming draft! So if there was anything to root for as the season comes to a close, it’s for the Buc’s to lose over the weekend in Cleveland but win the top draft pick. Yeah its pretty awful that it’s come down to that but you have to think about the long term good of the Pirate’s But then again when you consider long term when your talking about the Pirates that means looking on down the road to the Bucco’s future and unfortunately the only thing you see when you do that is nutting which reminds me of the old song “nutting from nutting leaves nutting” and that really is awful?
