It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and time for another episode of Tales of the Obvious. Since the dawn of time or when I first ventured out into a Halloween night dressed up in a dime store mask with the rubber band that would hold it in place while pinching the side of my face. I would be on a quest with my paper bag in search of candy and nothing but candy and that’s that I got 99 percent of the time. I mean it’s not like there weren’t instructional videos for adults called TV commercials from candy companies teaching adults that candy is what kids want when they knock on a door and yell trick or treat. But it never failed that you would run into a home that didn’t pay attention and instead would pass out fruit. Fruit? I want candy. Didn’t you see the TV commercials? Kids want candy! And you’d think that the kids of my generation who are now grown up would never hand out fruit but apparently, I was wrong. So wrong that some adults today have taken it one step further by handing out tooth brushes and dental floss. Hey, while you’re at it why not throw in some toothpaste too. I’m willing to bet that it’s not even dentists that are handing that stuff out, bad for business. It’s Halloween not dental hygiene month. Think back to the instructional videos or commercials that you see on TV, candy! Kids want candy. Thank you.  Oh, and Happy Halloween.
