It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

and I’m in trouble and maybe you too. I like spicy food. I like hot peppers, hot sauce, hot wings but now according o a 15-year study I’m being told not eat or use as much hot sauce anymore or risk forgetting more than where I put my car keys. A study of 4,000 adults have found evidence of a faster cognitive decline in those who consistently ate more than 50 grams of hot stuff per day. 50 grams per day? That’s about one wing in my house. They say memory decline was even greater among those who ate the peppers and were also slim because of an active component of chili peppers that reportedly speeds up metabolism, fat loss and helps prevent vascular disorders. Great, I won’t have to worry about a stroke or artery disease because I won’t have any memory to cause me to worry. And this just in. Screamin’ Sriracha flavored Doritos hit the shelves this fall after the success of last January’s Flamin’ Hot Doritos. How did I forget that?
