It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…like most people I grew up eating dinner at the kitchen table in fact a new survey found 72% of us did but that’s changed over the years. Today only 48% of us sit down at the kitchen table 30% of us preferred eating on the couch and it probably has a lot to do with watching TV while eating. In fact when I got older and still living at my parents house I would put newspapers down on the floor of the living room for my plate in front of the TV. My parents took it step further and used TV trays to eat from in the living room. Today, I sit in the recliner and eat while watching TV it’s just more comfortable while my wife prefers the kitchen table but she also has a TV in the dinning room. In fact the only time anyone gathers around the kitchen table to eat is during the holidays and even then we got the TV on cause god forbid any of us engage in any kind of kind of meaningful conversation unless its got something to do with what we just saw on TV.
