It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…so with Country House entering the Kentucky Derby with 65-1 odds if you laid down 2 bucks for a ticket to win you would have come away with $132.40,  $56.60 to place and $24.60 to show. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal it’s the second highest payout in the Derby’s history. Now if you know what you’re doing you could have made a whole lot more than that. One better at the MGM Resorts made more than a $100,000 off a pair of $4 wagers that after taxes earned him almost $80,000. He made two identical superfecta wagers, on the top four finishers which they called a miracle bet. But the disqualification of Maximum Security ended up costing Vegas sports books money because of the crazy payouts they would have made if Maximum Security had won. Instead they went from winning mid-five figures to losing mid-five figures on Country road.
