…so, what’s something you wouldn’t buy but would gladly take if it was a given as a Gift? A Reddit thread this week asked just that and some of the replies were Sex. I aint buying it but if I get if as a gift, I’m not turning it down. Another was a Cruise. Yeah, I’m never going to spend money for a Cruise and even if it was gifted, I’m not so sure I’d still go. Their something about being on a boat and not seeing land in any direction but then again you could say that about being on a plane and seeing nothing but clouds all around you. Another was a Roomba, one of those robotic vacuum cleaners. That’s one I’d happily accept but wouldn’t buy. Another was a crazy expensive bottle of wine. I don’t drink wine but if it were given to me, I’m not going to let it go to waste. And finally, they list, a replica of the Long-claw sword from Game of Thrones. No, I wouldn’t buy it either but if someone gave it to me sure I’d take it. I know someone who would buy one in fact his studio is completely filled with King Arthur stuff. He’s got swords and shields all over his wall’s. The only thing missing is a Knight in Shining Armor looking for the Holy Grail. So I guess the gifts that you wouldn’t buy and you pretend to like when their given to you are the ones that up in the re-gifted pile. Merry Christmas!
