…and here I thought I was the only one but apparently men are really that dumb when it comes to domestic appliances like dishwashers or washing machines. A recent survey by Samsung reveals that 75% of us are confused by domestic appliances. 66% of men don’t know how to completely operate a washing machine and I’m among that bunch. The only washing machine I was ever able to use was the one at the laundromat and only because there are step by step instructions on the machine. I apparently don’t know how to load a dishwasher or that’s what my wife tells me. 90% of men don’t know what ‘do not tumble dry’ and ‘delicate wet clean’ means. I get the “do not tumble dry” but what does “delicate wet clean mean?” 26% of men don’t know how to defrost food in the microwave. Okay, who are these guys? It’s written right there on the microwave. Defrost. How hard is that? 24% of men do not know how to clean an oven. No, 24% of men don’t want to clean the oven. And while the survey seems to pick on men it did find that 39% of women are confused by domestic appliances. Well, i think we can all agree on the one appliance that everyone knows how to use. The Toaster. Put the bread in push the button down and wait till the wires get hot and you got toast! Yeah, Toast!
