…thinking bad thoughts about a groundhog named Phil as I watch the snow fall outside the Pickle studio. Not only did he depress a nation by saying we would have 6 more weeks of winter but it’s been over 9 weeks since he made that prediction and it will be 3 weeks tomorrow that spring officially sprung. I hope I’m wrong but I think we’re just going to bye pass spring all together and go straight to summer. Now looking down the road to later this week a warming trend appears to be on the horizon with day time highs in the low 70’s on Friday and Saturday. I think it’s just a tease because come Sunday the temperatures are back into the upper 50’s for a daytime high then into the 40’s on Monday and Tuesday. Of course listening to a ground hog predict the weather is like listening to a weatherman predict the weather, they all lie. I know it’s an unfair stereotype but its one they can’t shake no matter how accurate they are. In fact my daughter once dated a guy who would bend the truth so much that she nicknamed him the weatherman. And to think at one time Joe said it would and it did.
