It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and it will be nice not to wake up and shovel snow before I head to the station in the morning then shovel snow when I go home and then shovel snow when I wake up the next day. That’s been my routine for the last two days. It’s kind of weird shoveling it at 3 am when I’m the only one around. Kind of eerie, especially if you hear a strange noise because it’s just so quite on our street at that time of the morning. I just chalk it up to it probably being me that’s making the noise from shoveling and not even realizing it. Maybe mother nature is making up for the fact that last winter was pretty mellow and I like mellow. And why do people wait until it starts to snow to get tires for their car. I went in to get my scheduled free tire rotation only to be told it’s going to be a couple of hours before they can even get to me and I don’t have a couple of hours let alone the time it takes out of my day just to get my tires rotated. But their I was staring at a waiting room filled with people who I assume were there unlike me to spend their money and considering the tire joint already got my money I was the proverbial low man on the totem pole. The good news is that I wont be going home today to shovel snow and wont have to worry about it tomorrow either.  I guess you could say we’re going through what could be called the the calm before the next storm and considering February has yet to arrive it’s only a matter of time. Hopefully the ground hog has other ideas. 16 days and counting.
