Where’s the beef…

…or in this case the chicken? Man, Subway can’t catch a break but then again they seem to bring it upon themselves. Remember when someone actually measured their foot long Sub and found it to be a little short. Well, they took some flack for that and now comes word that their oven roasted chicken may not be what you think it is. Apparently some folks in white lab coats in Canada decided to test the DNA in multiple products from Subway, McDonalds and Wendy’s and discovered that Subway’s oven roasted chicken is only 53.6% chicken, their sweet onion teriyaki strips have only 42.8% chicken while the rest of the items belongs to soy. Subway is disputing the findings and says it’s chicken products “call for 1% or less soy protein” but that they will “look into this” with it’s supplier to make sure the chicken is meeting its standards. Meanwhile, eat fresh my friend. Oh wait, that’s a differrent commercial.
