… so did you take care of mom yesterday and get her something nice for Mothers Day or did you get something for yourself thinking it would be a good mothers day gift for her? The reason I ask is I heard an ad for a jewelry store over the weekend saying to get mom what she really wants and that’s to hear that you’re finally getting engaged. I wonder how many people actually thought that was a good idea. Obviously the guys in marketing who came up with the ad did. I guess the thought of mom getting short changed never entered their head but makes you wonder how many people actually did get engaged for mom on Mothers day and got away with it. Just what mom needed right? I’m sure she’s real happy for you.
