It’s The Kielbasa Kid…

…and maybe there wasn’t enough space on the marquee for H-E-double-hockey-Sticks-Boy when a Tennessee movie theater advertised that the movie HeckBoy was playing and not HellBoy. The Tennessean reports the PG advertisement at the Dickson Theater decided to change the name because the theater sits across from a church and next to an elementary school and the manager said the theater avoids putting up words on its sign that may be seen as profanity. Well, its caused more than a local buzz and maybe that’s good because the movie that cost around $50 million to make has only pulled in $19 million in its first two weekends. She said the response to the theaters play on words has been more exciting than expected. She says she’s glad the sign shared the community’s personality and elicited some laughs. You think theirs a fire and brimstone preacher on the radio or a church just down the road talking about Heck in no uncertain terms over and over. I don’t think so. I’m telling yeah the worlds going to Heck in a hand basket.
