It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I’ve been drinking coffee on a regular basis since what seems like forever but really only since I began my career in radio which seems like forever. I never considered myself a big coffee drinker but I guess I am or at least that’s what I’ve been told. Legend has it that I would use two coffee bags instead of one when I made a pot of coffee. Maybe I didn’t use as much water as other folks did but hey, I want to taste it alright and I don’t cut it with any sugar or cream just straight black coffee. Comedy bits were created around my love of coffee. I was once told that I was going to get kidney stones because I drank so much coffee. So, it’s nice to see a study every now and then that touts the health benefits of coffee. Like the new study from the Krembil Brain institute that have clinical programs that specialize in brain based and neural-related diseases and disorders. Now I don’t know if the study was funded by a coffee conglomerate but they found that drinking coffee may protect you from developing both Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. How cool is that? So not only is coffee waking you up in the morning it may just be the worlds best medicine. I know its corny but I’ll drink to that!
