It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I thought this was a cool survey by JBL Speakers. What iconic music moments would Americans have liked to have seen live? Turns out a lot of the Super bowl performances but especially when Whitney Houston sung the Star Spangled Banner prior to Super Bowl 25 the game where Buffalo lost the 1st of 4 straight Super Bowls. You know its tough enough to get to the big game but to have 4 opportunities in a row and lose every single one. The sad part of it all is their best chance of winning came in that first one. All Scott Norwood had to do was make the field goal. Granted it was a 47 yarder that today kickers seem to be making on a regular basis and with only 8 seconds left in the game the pressure must have been too much because he kicked it wide right and the Giants held on to a 20-19 Super bowl victory. The remains the only Super bowl according to Wikipedia to be decided by one point and the first Super Bowl in which neither team committed a turnover. But yeah Whitney Houston singing the Star Spangled Banner topped the list of most iconic music moments that Americans would have liked to have seen live and in person. The others include

Elton John’s performance of “Candle in the Wind” at Princess Diana’s funeral 31%
