…and here’s a first. Have you ever been stuck in traffic for so long you turn around and go a different route. Well that happened to me the other day but I wasn’t on a highway I was in a parking lot. A traffic jam in the parking lot and with no traffic. I’m leaving a parking lot with ticket in hand waiting for the car in front of me to put their ticket in the machine that will lift the gate but the car at the gate is having problems because the gate wont open. I must have sat for about 5 minutes and at one point turned the car engine off. Then the person in the car at the gate opens there car door to do…I really don’t know what…but what ever it was I was tired of just sitting and waiting. So I remembered that the lot had another exit and figured I’ll just turn around and go to it. What are the odds of another car at the other gate would also be having problems with getting the gate to open up. I’m like, is this really happening? I actually thought about turning around again because I looked behind me and saw whoever was having problems leaving at the other gate finally figured things out and the guy whos in front of me now appears to be trying different tickets to get the gate to unlock. I’m thinking how many tickets does this guy have, “Oh man, one of these tickets got to open the gate”. Then he gets on his cell phone I guess calling for help. A traffic jam in the parking lot with no traffic. What are the odds. I’m just glad the person behind me didn’t start honking their horn. Yeah like that would speed things up. You know like when the traffic light turns green and the guy behind you starts honking his horn because you didn’t move fast enough for him. Guess what? I’m really going to take my time to move now.
