Grammy Hall Of Fame Recognizes Inductees For 2021!

The Recording Academy is welcoming the 2021 inductees for the distinguished Grammy Hall of Fame.  The 29 new additions include a diverse range of both single and album recordings at least 25 years-old that show “qualitative or historical significance.”  Among the songs and albums added to the Grammy Hall of Fame Monday are USA for Africa’s benefit single, “We Are the World,” Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.” and Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler.”  Seven debut LP’s made the cut including Bruce Springsteen’s “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.,” The Cars self-titled album and Beastie Boys’ “Licensed to Ill.”  The list also features material from Journey, Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton.
