…and this would suck if I were a kid but I ain’t a kid. This would suck if I were a skier but I ain’t a skier. In fact I’m not much into the snow and ice of winter anymore. I used to be. I used to love the seasons as they changed but not any more. I remember my aunt telling me I should find a job where its warm. Hey, I would if I could take western Pennsylvania with me but I can’t. So when I see the Old Farmers Almanac predicting a lighter winter this year I thought “be still my heart”. While it doesn’t say I wont be shoveling the driveway this year it does say I wont be shoveling it as much. The Almanac is calling for snow fall and precipitation but it says it will be below normal in most places. I hope my zip code is in the most places area. To be fair I wish the skiers, snowboarders and sled-riders live in the snowiest areas. According to the Old Farmers Almanac you’ll probably have to break out the snow blower, if your so inclined in early and mid December and early to mid March, so have fun. As far as the winter temperatures are concerned it will be much warmer than what’s typical, despite some cold periods in early and mid-December into early January and late January but what would you expect it’s January. So maybe come February Phil will predict an early spring. I know Thanksgiving is right around the corner but can’t you smell that glazed Ham cooking for Easter.
