It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

wondering if you will be buying Halloween Candy this year? Due to the Pandemic you might have fewer trick or treaters this season which means you just might be eating a lot of your own Halloween candy and wouldn’t that be a shame. So when you go to buy it, according to those looking out for our best interest you might want to look at some healthier options or avoid the worst of the worst candy. To help you in that department some of the so called experts who are probably the same ones who make us feel guilty about eating too much during the holidays, especially on Thanksgiving, are back to help you avoid the unhealthiest candy. Topping the list of worst of the worst unfortunately are 3 of my favorites and leading the pack are 3 Musketeers bars which are so soft and fluffy how could they be bad for you? Next up is the chewy goodness of the Milky Way bar followed by the nutty Baby Ruth. Then you got the Chocolatey Payday, that’s a new Hershey’s bar that was just launched this summer. They’re a normal Payday bar but wrapped in chocolate, oh give me more of that. Rounding out the top 5 Mr. Goodbar, is she still looking for him? The deal is that they’re not so much high in calories compared to other candy bars but they have a lot more sugar. Sometimes twice as much. You know, you’d think that after all the pixie sticks and wax lips we grew up eating that we would eventually built up an immunity to all the sweet goodness that surrounds us but no its just the opposite. It’s a shame that we don’t get special dispensation because like Thanksgiving when stuffing our face is a tradition our bodies should give us a pass for Halloween too. But no instead as we age its payback time and that’s just wrong. Next thing you know they’ll be saying we shouldn’t add sugar to our sugar frosted flakes. What do you think makes them so, Great!
