It’s The Kielbasa Kid…

…… so I guess it’s a good thing the Colt’s have decided to ignore Adam Vinatieri’s use by date after shanking a 43 yard field goal that would have given Indy the lead with about a minute to play instead the miss allowed the Steelers to get into the victory formation and improve to 4 and 4 in what turned out to be a battle of the back up quarterbacks. Indy’s starter went down early in the game but except for a 96 yard interception returned for a touchdown by Minka Fitzpatrick, whose making that trade with Miami look real good for Pittsburgh, the Colts back up was pretty good throwing 3 touchdowns passes. While Mason Rudolf except for 1 touchdown pass was no red zone reindeer this week. Good thing last year was an aberration for the Wizard of Boz who was once again perfect on the day going 4 for 4. Steelers wide receiver James Washington put together a highlight reel, catching everything thrown his way including those he shouldn’t have. One he looked over at the ref to be sure that he really caught it. Too bad Rudolf couldn’t find him or any other wide receiver more often. Although Ju Ju caught four, one skipped off his hands and was intercepted and he dropped another he should have had. Jaylen Samuels set a record for receptions by a running back that Lev Bell held with his 13th too bad that ended up as a fumble. Samuel s should have had a touchdown earlier in the game but coach Tomlin didn’t challenge it after winning his first in decades last week. Of course, Tomlin did challenge two back to back and lost both so he’s back on course. As for the Steelers they find themselves on a three game win streak. They finally beat a team with a winning record and are sitting at .500.at 4 and 4 thanks in part to the Colts not knowing Adam Vinatieri’s use by date expired weeks ago.
