It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and I am so tired of hearing “insert name of team here- fans travel well”. You always hear it during Steelers away games but I actually heard it during the Seattle Cleveland game Sunday when a few Seahawk fans were spotted in the crowd. I’m willing to bet the furthest those Seattle fans traveled to the game was from maybe Youngstown Ohio because their Seahawk fans. Yeah, I’m sure there may be a few fans that do travel to an away game because I know of one who along with a few of his friends will make plans for at least one Steelers road trip per season. But who in their right mind would want to make plans for a road trip to Cleveland?  Now a road trip to LA is a different story especially to a city where the local team has no fan base like the Chargers in LA. So the few who did travel and the locals who are Steelers fans really did turn Sunday nights game into a home game for the visiting Steelers. To their credit or I missed it but Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth made no mention about how well Steelers fans travel during Sunday nights game especially when the home team was booed during introductions. It was probably the most bizarre scene a home team ever had to deal with or it’s something the Chargers have gotten used to ever since moving to a city that didn’t have an NFL franchise for years now finds itself with two. At least the Rams were originally in LA while the Chargers will forever be linked to San Diego. How embarrassing.  Is it true that they played Renegade by Styx when the Chargers were trying to mount a comeback?
