It’s the Kielbasa Kid…

…and can we talk Steelers Football? Is that alright?  If you went to bed at the half thinking the Steelers had this one locked up, sorry. Dispite getting off to a fast start, for the first time ever they lost a game at home when they were leading by 16 points at any point in the the game. They were 174-0 and 1. In fact Pittsburgh only punted once in the 1st half and even had a 97 yard touchdown drive in just 78 seconds before the half. Now normally I don’t blame the officials for missing stuff but how about calling a whistle on themselves cause, as they explained, they were out of position.I think they were out of position for most of the night like when the Chargers scored a touchdown when they were so blatantly offside that the 60 thousand plus at Heinz field saw it. Then how about the no flag on what turned out to be another Charger touchdown, a 73 yard punt return. On that one, no one threw a flag on a block in the back of a Steeler player while a Charger was taking it to the house. Maybe the officials were out of position. And just when you thought the Steelers would finally get a turnover when corner-back Joe Haden picked off a Philip Rivers pass in the end zone,  Sean Davis knocks it out of his hands into the air and into Charger receiver instead for a TD. You cant make this stuff up. What’s that, 21 of the 33 point’s La scored to win the game? And that’s another thing. LA? Its just weird hearing the LA Chargers and not San Diego. Then when the officials should have been out of position they weren’t when the Chargers field goal attempt with 3 seconds on the clock missed but the Steelers were offside. Then on the second attempt the Steelers block it but were offside again. The 3rd time was the charm as it went thru. The Steelers were off sides on that one too but game over. Oh, the Wizard of Boz missed another extra point. 5th time this season but hits a 48 yard field goal. You’d think that would be harder to make than an extra point but what do I know, I was out of position.
