…and with December staring us in the face the days to use your vacation days are fading if you’re not allowed to carry them over into the new year. We’re allowed too carry them over here at Forever Media but you’ve got to use them before the 1st quarter of the New Year is up. I try to save a few days for the end of the year just in case I need them because some inconsiderate person decided to sneeze, spewing god knows what in my direction that may or may not lay me up for a couple of days. So, if everything goes as planned, I’ll be taking little time off over the Christmas holiday. I’ll still have one more day to carry over into the new year and probably should have used it next Monday because the Steelers are playing San Diego this Sunday night but I just thought of it, so there goes that idea. But what amazes me are the number of workers that will be ending the year with more and more unused vacation days. Sorry, that’s not me. If I got time off, I’m using that time off because I earned it. I mean, its not like their going to get someone to fill in for me to see if they do a better job and work for less pay and not have to give them as much vacation time or are, they? What do all those people who are ending the year with more and more unused vacation days know that I don’t know. Nothing like a little paranoia to close out the year.
