…this has got to be a first. A Paris Aquarium is providing sanctuary to over 600 unwanted pet gold fish. How hard is it to take care of a gold fish? Apparently for the French, very hard. The Paris Aquarium has been taking unwanted goldfish who can no longer live with their humans. You know that sounds like the Gold Fish want out but that’s what the story reads, they can no longer live with their humans. Well, they say that the French are known for their rudeness and it must be true if even Gold Fish, who are known for being one of the heartiest fish alive, can’t deal with them. Remember when Frenchy Fuiqua of the Pittsburgh Steelers had Gold Fish in the glass heel of his platform shoes? He had two fish in each shoe. But even Gold Fish aren’t that hearty because they kept dying. So, he switched to tropical fish because the colors went better with his outfits but they didn’t last long either. But yeah, a Paris Aquarium is providing sanctuary to unwanted Gold Fish and they hope the effort will raise awareness about the animal’s mistreatment. Well, at least the folks who run the aquarium aren’t rude.
